One of these popped the achievement for me. this is what the exploit is called in the code:ĭ('YOURENOTMEANTTOACCESSTHIS') // tried this alone, not workingĭ('YOURE_NOT_MEANT_TO_ACCESS_THIS') ĭ('DEVMENU') // tried this alone, not workingĭ('OPENDEVMENU') // tried this alone, not workingĭ('OPENEDDEVMENU') ĭ('DEVMENUOPEN') ĭ('DEVMENUOPENED') ĭ('OPEN_DEVMENU') ĭ('OPENDEV_MENU') ĭ('OPEN_DEV_MENU') ĭ('OPENED_DEVMENU') ĭ('OPENEDDEV_MENU') ĭ('OPENED_DEV_MENU') ĭ('DEV_MENUOPEN') ĭ('DEVMENU_OPEN') ĭ('DEV_MENU_OPEN') ĭ('DEV_MENUOPENED') ĭ('DEVMENU_OPENED') ĭ('DEV_MENU_OPENED') When should you use all your threads on the 'share' instead of boosting your hacking level.Since the achievement didn't pop on actually opening the menu, I played around: CyberSec: Hack CSEC Manually Tian Di Hui: 1m Hacking Level 50 Be in Chongqing, New Tokyo, or Ishima Netburners: Hacking Level 80 Total Hacknet Levels of 100 Total Hacknet RAM of 8 Total Hacknet Cores of 4 City Factions: Sector-12: Be in Sector-12 15m Chongqing New Tokyo Ishima Volhaven Chongqing: Be in Chongqing 20m Sector-12. By the time I would be high enough to bother with them, it's time to hack the bitnode. Charisma probably requires time in the university (or maybe the slower chrisma xp gained for just working). Especially since there is the charisma requirement for job promotions beyond the 2nd. They require 200k rep just to enter, they never seemed to be worth bothering with. I don't know if the corporate factions have any real use during the earlier stages of the game. I would also love to know if/when you should grab the first hack augment available then reset as quickly as possible or hold out and grab the next one. Since hacking also boosts rep gain (unless your doing combat). * I have no idea if those rep specific augments are worth it over hacking ones. There's a few things I would like to know myself: Removes the need to 'focus'Īevum also has the PCMatrix that gives %7 at 100,000k * "Neuroreceptor Management Implant" at 75,000 rep. * "Social Negotiation Assistant (S.N.A)" at 6,250 repgives 15% rep bonus. * "ADR-V1 Pheromone Gene" at 3,750 rep, gives %10 rep. Maybe it's better to start with them? In particular 'Tian Di Hui' seems to focus on rep augs: Some of the factions have augments that increase your rep that aren't to hard to get. Since it doesn't work for 100k rep, the only other choice is to improve your hacking level or boost rep gain. The post seemed to indicate no in general, but that didn't seem to take into account the augment upgrades. * I'm not sure if it makes sense to reset multiple times to reach a higher rep. * After about ~440,000 (or maybe it's 471,496?) you have enough reputation to gain 150 favor which unlocks donation at which point you just pay with money. Since faction rep rate is based on your hack skill (unless your going for a combat style) a hack augment might be worth it? Or one of the ones that focus on rep gain? Especially when combined with the favor multiplier. * It didn't take into account rep gain improvements from any augments. * It didn't take into account the time it would take to rejoin the faction (minor after some augment resets but a big issue at the start). * For 100k and under the math said it wasn't worth it. There where where a few problems with that though: Having some script that picks the targets to hack as your level grows and decides when you hack for money vs hack for xp would likely be useful.Ī while back someone worked out that augmenting at about %15 of required reputation for an upgrade worked out faster mathematically. Plus you need money for augments, but a higher hack level means access to better targets. Of course you need some money to buy they port crackers and you can also purchase servers which give you a lot more threads so there is going to be some tradeoff. Since the 'hacking contracts' rep gain depends on your hack level, you can also focus on just boosting your hacking level by running as many weaken threads on targets as possible rather than bothering to make money. There has recently been added a 'share' function that lets you use threads to boost your rep gain.
